FAQ

Please find the answers to our most frequently asked questions below:

How many bartenders are recommended for my event?

We generally recommend one bartender per 50 guests if you are serving beer and wine only. If you wish to serve craft or simple pour cocktails, we staff one bartender per 35 guests.

How much time is needed for setup if I rent a portable bar?

We typically require one hour of setup time for smaller parties and two hours for weddings and larger events. If you are renting "CoCo," our vintage trailer bar, there is a standard two-hour setup time.

Can we charge guests for cocktails?

No. In Colorado, you cannot legally sell cocktails at a private party without a Special Event Liquor Permit from the state or local licensing authority. This permit is typically restricted to qualifying nonprofit, social, fraternal, or political organizations. For private, invitation-only parties, selling alcohol without a license is illegal.

Can you purchase alcohol for my event?

Yes. We offer a "Cocktail Consult and Curation" service where we consult on your menu and calculate the necessary quantities. We provide all supplies at cost and add a small convenience fee for this service.

If I am not renting a portable bar, what do you require?

  - Craft Cocktail Service: In addition to the front and back bar areas, we require a trash can and a dump bucket, cooler, or sink access for excess liquid and ice. You will also need ice bins or coolers for beer and wine storage.

If you need extra storage for ice or products that require cooling—such as white wine, beer, and champagne—please let us know and we can add those to your portable bar rental.

What is your deposit and cancellation policy? To reserve our bartending services and portable bar rentals, we require a 30% deposit. For our all-inclusive packages, a 50% deposit is required. Please note that deposits are non-refundable, as they secure our inventory and services for your specific date. However, if you need to reschedule and we have the availability, your deposit can be transferred to a new date and time.
